Mătăsaru is a commune in Dâmbovița County, Muntenia, Romania with a population of 4,836 people as of 2021. It is composed of seven villages: Crețulești, Mătăsaru, Odaia Turcului, Poroinica, Puțu cu Salcie, Sălcioara, and Tețcoiu.
